In today’s world, living costs are rising, and concern for the environment and energy efficiency are becoming increasingly important. Farmers and agricultural property owners are looking for innovative solutions that will allow them to not only achieve energy independence, but also minimize the environmental impact of their operations. One answer to these challenges is SOLROOF – a complete photovoltaic system that combines excellent aesthetics, performance, and rigorous durability standards, as well as care for the environment.
Thanks to the SOLROOF integrated photovoltaic roof, you can significantly reduce electricity operating costs by producing clean energy – by installing the roof on residential or commercial buildings. Many photovoltaic solutions are available on the market that look good and allow for a very flexible approach to installation.
Using a modern solution, the SOLROOF manufacturer has eliminated unattractive, heavy photovoltaic panels, along with visible mounting structures and wiring that we know from standard solutions. The integrated FIT VOLT photovoltaic panels are perfectly matched visually to the modular FIT roof panels, and thanks to optimizers from the renowned SOLROOF company – they achieve high efficiency.
The steel FIT VOLT panels in the SOLROOF system are built on a steel base that has been coated with a monocrystalline active layer. They demonstrate efficiency that matches the best systems on the market – while being lightweight and very durable, thanks to the steel base. This also leads to the conclusion that the steel integrated FIT VOLT photovoltaic panels can be installed on sheds, barns, cowsheds, and garages, as their weight should not threaten even lighter roof structures. Additionally, steel has excellent fire-resistant and fireproof properties, which has been proven in many studies conducted by foreign research institutions.
It should be kept in mind that the increasing rigor imposed on energy production from non-renewable energy sources, such as coal or gas, will have a significant impact on rising electricity prices. At the same time, we can expect support for ecological solutions through bonuses and subsidies for farms that care about environmental protection and use clean energy sources.
Therefore, we encourage you to reach for solutions and subsidies that enable complete or partial coverage of costs resulting from such an investment. From December 15 to January 12, another round of applications for subsidies for asbestos roof replacement will be ongoing.
As we can read on the gov.pl website: “The aid is intended for natural persons subject to farmers’ social insurance by law as a farmer or who were granted direct payments at least in the year preceding the submission of the application for this support.” You can get more detailed information about the conditions on the subsidy website.
The SOLROOF system, thanks to the steel used in the integrated FIT VOLT photovoltaic panels, has obtained certificates in fire safety testing. Among them, we can distinguish Broof T1 from CERTBUD. Tests were also conducted by the Certification of RES and New Technologies Safety – CBOiNT. The report from the conducted BIPV and PV installation safety tests shows that fire spread does not occur during the entire test, because the SOLROOF system manufacturer used a steel base for the photovoltaic panels.
The execution of the external roof element, which is simultaneously the surface of the photovoltaic module, does not ignite or melt. The FIT VOLT system heats up to a small degree and does not cause heat penetration through thermal conduction through successive layers of roof covering to the interior of the building.
The advantage of steel is its low weight in relation to strength parameters – even a thin layer of steel sheet can very effectively resist mechanical impact (hail, rain, snow, wind). Moreover, to ensure that the SOLROOF roof is safe for users and resistant to the passage of time, the manufacturer offers a system solution, including the active part, dedicated sheet metal work and accessories, which make up the complete integrated photovoltaic roof. All this so that the customer receives a safe 2-in-1 solution – a complete roof that produces renewable electricity.
It’s worth choosing solutions offered by known and respected manufacturers in the roofing market, who have a well-developed distribution network with products available off the shelf. The SOLROOF system is the responsibility of BP2 company – known for comprehensive solutions for the steel and construction industry, present on the market for 30 years. The company is responsible for producing complete roofing and facade solutions for residential and industrial construction. BP2 provides specialized staff of certified roofers who systematically participate in product training. Training takes place with the participation of an advisor supporting the development of BP2’s proprietary technologies – master roofer, senior president of the Polish Roofers Association Waldemar Piela. By additionally combining forces with experts from the renewable energy sector, BP2 introduced the SOLROOF system to the market.
