SOLROOF is a BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) system – a solution where photovoltaics are an integral part of the roof, not a separate addition. By combining active (energy-producing) and inactive parts, you get a uniform roof covering that also serves as a power source for your home. As part of the SOLROOF system, we provide a complete roof: steel panels integrated with FIT VOLT photovoltaic modules (active), complementary FIT steel panels (inactive), flashing, optimizers, inverter, other installation components, and, at the customer’s request, a steel gutter system.

A photovoltaic roof should be designed not only to be responsible for energy production,
but also to ensure watertightness, protect the house from weather conditions, and provide a complete solution.

(inactive part)
MODULAR ROOF PANEL FIT
The FIT panel is a steel inactive part of the SOLROOF roof, which complements the integrated FIT VOLT photovoltaic panels (active part), creating a cohesive and watertight surface. Its appearance refers to traditional roofs with an alternating sheet arrangement, but it is made using modern installation technologies and XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel, which is characterized by a low carbon footprint and high durability. The FIT steel panels provide a durable and aesthetic complement to the roof surface, guaranteeing its watertightness and resistance.

(active part)
INTEGRATED PANEL FIT VOLT
The integrated FIT VOLT panel (active part) is a fundamental component of the SOLROOF system – it combines the function of roof covering and a photovoltaic panel. It is responsible for harnessing solar energy and converting it into electricity.
Thanks to the use of monocrystalline PERC cells combined with a steel base using glass-steel technology, the panel is watertight, durable, and resistant to varying weather conditions. FIT VOLT is a modern solution that enables the production of energy from sunlight without the need for traditional PV module installation.

(active part)
OPTIMIZER SOLAREDGE
The SolarEdge optimizer is an electronic component that increases the operating efficiency of FIT VOLT panels. Each optimizer operates independently for each pair of FIT VOLT panels, so shade, dirt, or differences in sunlight do not affect the performance of the entire system.
The Safe DC™ function automatically reduces voltage in the event of a fault, which increases the safety of the installation’s use. The optimizer is responsible for the maximum efficiency and safe operation of the photovoltaic system.

(inactive part)
STEEL GUTTER SYSTEM
The SOLROOF gutter system is a complete solution, made of high-quality coated steel with XCarb® steel certificates. The system components are precisely fitted, ensuring quick installation and watertight connections. The ULTIMAT [UTK] coating in shade UTK33 ensures durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic matching of the gutter system to the SOLROOF roof – thus the gutter system maintains full color consistency, structure, and gloss level with the SOLROOF roof covering. Gutter system covers are also available.

(inactive part)
VENTILATED RIDGE VOLT
The ventilated ridge is a finishing element placed at the roof ridge. It is responsible for the aesthetic finish of the roofing and for proper ventilation of the roof slope and attic. Its perforated design allows for free airflow, which aids in cooling FIT VOLT panels and removing moisture. Thanks to the ridge, the roof maintains its durability, and the entire system operates under optimal thermal conditions.

(inactive part)
VOLT CABLE DUCT
The cable duct is a steel flashing installed between the sheathing and the FIT VOLT panels. It is used for routing and protecting connection cables within the system. Thanks to its thoughtful design, it allows for connecting individual sections along the roof slope, and simultaneously functions as photovoltaic system grounding, increasing the installation’s protection level. It ensures aesthetic, safe, and durable cable routing under the roof covering.

(inactive part)
GUIDE FOR OPTIMIZERS VOLT
This is a dedicated element mounted under the verge flashing, which ensures safe and organized placement of SolarEdge optimizers. Made of steel, the guide protects cables from damage and external factors, while allowing quick service access. It facilitates the installation and maintenance of the SOLROOF system’s electrical wiring, increasing safety and durability.

(inactive part)
VERGE FLASHING VOLT
The verge flashing is a steel side trim that protects the roof edges from wind uplift and water ingress. It also serves to conceal the wiring and optimizers routed along the edge. Its screw-free design enhances the aesthetic finish while allowing active components to be hidden. It protects the roof from external factors and gives it a modern, cohesive look.
SOLROOF is a solution where the roof becomes an energy source – it protects the house and produces energy. Thanks to low-emission XCarb® recycled and renewably produced steel, SOLROOF means a smaller carbon footprint for the natural environment.
With SOLROOF, you get a BIPV system — integrated photovoltaics with steel cladding (FIT and FIT VOLT panels). Additionally, we equip the roof with flashings, a steel gutter system, and high-quality PV installation components (optimizers, inverter, wiring).

OPTIMIZER
Maximizes panel efficiency regardless of shading, dirt, and other unfavorable factors, unlike traditional systems.
INVERTER
The heart of the system. Converts direct current to alternating current.
ENERGY BANK
You have uninterrupted access to green energy, even when cloud cover or time of day do not allow for its generation through the integrated SOLROOF photovoltaic roof.
SOLROOF HUB
This is a solution that extends the capabilities of the photovoltaic system.
When creating SOLROOF, the main goal was to ensure maximum system operating efficiency, which is why the installation’s operation is based on proven SolarEdge solutions, such as inverters and optimizers, which are responsible for maximizing the performance of FIT VOLT panels.

Integrated FIT VOLT photovoltaic panels utilize modern PERC technology, which increases the efficiency of solar energy conversion. The active part of FIT VOLT panels is characterized by very good efficiency of 21.1%, with a performance of 208 W/m2.
The Safe DC™ function minimizes risks caused by current surges and, in the event of a fault, reduces the voltage to a safe level of 1 V. All wiring related to the installation is located under the roof covering in dedicated steel profiles. Optimizers are mounted at the roof edge, facilitating access to them.

Integrated FIT VOLT photovoltaic panels utilize modern PERC (Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell) technology, which increases the efficiency of solar energy conversion thanks to the application of a passivation layer on the rear side of the cell. This solution enables more effective utilization of sunlight, reduces energy losses, and improves panel performance — especially in high temperatures and low sunlight conditions.

Photovoltaic modules have been designed to meet numerous compliance requirements with standards:
IEC 61215-1:2016 (PV module functionality), IEC 61730-1:2016 (PV module safety),
EN 13501-5:2016 BROOF (T4) (fire protection), ISO 9001:2015 (quality management systems).
The integrated FIT VOLT photovoltaic panel was developed based on a valued and proven solution – the FIT steel roof panel.
The glass-glass panel creation technology has been improved to glass-steel technology through the use of a steel base in the FIT VOLT panel.
VOLT LINK technology ensures adequate sealing between the steel base and the cells, as well as the flexibility required for proper thermal operation under temperature changes.
Thanks to the irregular surface of the colorless binder, adhesion at the steel-to-glass connection point has been increased.
